162 004 arrives with Os1951 (Lipany - Košice) at Kysak station. Kysak is a small village, but a rather important junction.
Slovakian locomotive 193029 operated by Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko at Praha hlavní nádraží having arrived with EuroCity train 124, the 1408 from Púchov.
28-02-2024 - One of the last surviving 460 “Tornádo” in Košice, Slovakia. A dreadful, almost ugly train, under a dreadful sky. It deserved an appropriate processing.

We were actually interested in the line that goes over the bridge in the background. This line connects the U.S. Steel plant on the left with the slag heap on the right. But we could not find a view of the line worth photographing.
Under the bridge we see 754 004 with R922 from Košice to Zvolen, which we could catch here at sunset.
813 044 as Os 6424, running from Košice to Moldava nad Bodvou, makes a short stop at Košice-Predmestie station. The area around the station is characterized by many prefabricated buildings from the communist era.
