Okay. Apparently, I started a series without knowing it. I’ve done three shots inspired by Beatles’ songs from “Abbey Road,” which if you didn’t know, is one of their albums. It’s funny to do pictures from their songs, because some of their lyrics are just nonsense. Brilliant nonsense of course ;)
They have a song called Polythene Pam. The lyrics are:
Well you should see Polythene Pam
She's so good-looking but she looks like a man
Well you should see her in drag dressed in her polythene bag
Yes you should see Polythene Pam.
Yeah yeah yeah
Get a dose of her in jackboots and kilt
She's killer-diller when she's dressed to the hilt
She's the kind of a girl that makes the "News of the World"
Yes you could say she was attractively built.
Yeah yeah yeah.
Polythene is a type of material used in some plastic garbage bags. And “News of the World,” is probably a newspaper. So, in the picture, I made a fake newspaper, and Polythene Pam is the cover story. And I had no idea how to depict “so good looking but she looks like a man.” So I just put on a fancy dress and added a mustache.
I didn’t want to use myself for the picture, but none of my friends were available, and I wanted to get the picture done today.

Day 115 of 365 (Year Three)
We had another full day of shooting today for Browncoats: Redemption.
Today didn't run as smoothly as the other shoots we've done so far. Apparently there was some misunderstanding as to what exactly we were doing this morning and the permission we got from the original park location was for still photography only and not film. The Park Rangers were very helpful and found us an alternate location for shooting that turned out to be better than the original site.
Once we secured a location, things ran a bit more smoothly. As the DP I didn't have much to do today with lighting. We had sunshine and even had we wanted to use some additional lights there was no place to plug in so I helped out where I could and spent the rest of the day snapping off shots of some of the wildlife around the park and a few shots of the cast and crew. It seems like I spent most of the day directing people at the park around the filming location and answering their questions about the movie.
Day 115 of 365 (Year Two)
Woo Hoo! It's Baaaaack! New episodes of LOST (Sorry Fuzzirella).
I don't know that Hugo's comment has anything to do with the show past the fact they were playing RISK, but considering where the flight originated from who knows?
A few more questions raised, but at least now I know why Sayid is doing what he is doing. I don't know that Desmond is gonna appreciate Ben's quest to get even though!
An hour just isn't long enough for this show. I'd be happy watching two hour episodes every week. I said it before and I'll say it again. . .I don't know what their problem was during season three, but they've got their mojo back.
According to an article I read, we can expect to get at least partial answers about the smoke beast, the four toed foot and other questions from the past. That alone will keep me glued to the set while LOST is on.
Day 115 of 365
One of the assignments for this week for Take a Class With Dave And Dave was to shoot a postcard shot of your hometown. Baltimore is the nearest significant city with anything worthy of a postcard so after work I headed downtown to get some shots of the harbor. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the Orioles were playing the Red Sox in town tonight so getting to the harbor was a pain in the ass. The nice thing about that though was that the harbor itself was pretty empty. A few people walking and a few joggers, but that was about it. It was rather peaceful.
