47 575 'City of Hereford', named at Hereford as part of the GWR 150 events in 1985, heads north through Nibley on June 13th 1987, working 1M86.
She was built by Brush as D1770, entering service in October 1964. She was renumbered 47 175 in February 1974, and then to 47 575 on receiving ETH equipment in March 1981. Withdrawn in January 2001, she was cut up by C F Booth, Rotherham, in May 2010.

Postal-liveried 47575 City of Hereford storms away from Norwich with 1P52, the 1055 Liverpool Street to Great Yarmouth, forming the 1252 departure from Norwich. In addition to the booked turns to the Norfolk coast, 47575 also worked 2P34 1844 Norwich to Great Yarmouth and 2P33 1920 return, covering for a DMU.
Some British Rail staff can just be seen on the left fixing a broken station lamp, which has been folded down onto the platform.
