Voorafgaand aan de op de PCC gerichte dag bij het Haags Openbaar Vervoer Museum moest er even gerangeerd worden met een aantal trams om een leuke opstelling te bereiken. Buitenlijner 57 verdwijnt in het gebouw en geeft het zicht vrij op de bijzonder fraai gerestaureerde Ombouwer 77 (Tramweg Stichting) die hier tegenwoordig onder is gebracht. Het HOVM had al Ombouwer 36 in de collectie. De 77 kwam lang geleden op de baan als motorwagen 34 in 1905, geleverd door Werkspoor in de serie 21-150 (bijnaam "Fordje"). Kort had ze het nummer 81. In 1930 geselecteerd voor ombouw door HAWA en onder nummer 77 in dienst gesteld in 1931. Eind jaren '50 ontkwam ze aan sloop en werd werkwagen H 42. Following on from the demise of several well known South Staffordshire independent bus operators in the early 1970s, came the establishment of the 'Green Bus Service' of Great Wyrley. The bus company was born out of Warstones Motors, a small haulage operator and coal merchant, and initially traded as Warstones Motors.

The expansion of its bus services in South Staffordshire throughout the 1970s and 80s, became an increasingly welcome sight for many rural communities in that part of the county.

Initially using Bedford coaches, the GBS turned to secondhand Leyland buses as their fleet mainstay, remaining loyal to the make.

Acquired from Parfitt's Motor Services of Rhymney Bridge, South Wales in c1995, TMB877R was a Duple bodied Leyland Leopard that had been new to Chester Transport in 1976. Between working for Chester Transport and Parffit's, TMB877R had been owned and operated by Merthyr Tydfil Transport. The bus was was one of four Leopards acquired by Merthyr from Chester, being exchanged for five Dennis Dominator single-deckers. At the time, Chester were changing their fleet profile over to Dennis Dominators.

Numbered 3 in the GBS fleet, TMB877R is pictured en route for Wolverhampton, the bus travelling through Coven on the Wolverhampton - Brewood service. Today, the garage premises to the left of picture are still extant, but no longer sell fuel. It's likely that the destination blind has been deliberately set by the driver in its in-between destinations position, to save having to alter it for each journey.
