Copenhagen. Umove 7969 working as cruise ship shuttle from Oceankai to the City Centre. This is also the first time since 2022 that Copenhagen has seen Volvo B12BLE Vest Center buses - when the last Arriva ones were withdrawn and scrapped. A handful from Odense were sold off and got a couple of years more in North Jutland as peek service extras, two of them now works peek service extras work some 40-50 km from Copenhagen, but today those two came all the way to Central Copenhagen for cruise ship shuttle work that Vikingbus could not cover themselves due to extensive train replacement bus contract work North of Copenhagen

Les 16 et 17 février 1985 la Suisse occidentale était confrontée à des chutes de neige d'une durée exceptionnelle.
A Genève l'événement qualifié de neige du siècle a paralysé le trafic.
Aux TPG de nombreux véhicules, trams, trolleybus et autobus, n'ont pas pu rejoindre le dépôt.
Certaines lignes n'ont pas pu être exploitées durant plusieurs jours en raison de parties de leurs parcours qui n'étaient pas dégagés, en zone rurale et même en plein centre ville.
L'autobus FBW 260 en attente de réparation voisine avec la motrice Düwag Be 4/6 799 qui n'a jamais été mise en service à Genève.
Cette motrice a été garée à Jonction 2 hors réseau lors de l'arrivée de la Be 4/6 741 le 5 janvier 1984.
Elle sera démolie sur place en juillet 1986.

NS coal empties from Cedar Rapids Iowa via IAIS and Peoria, which I believe were running as a 799, knock down CP Goembel on NS's Bloomington District. I'm not sure why I was down here. I think the forecast showed the slightest chance of sun that I may have seen briefly before being blanketed in a layer of overcast. Usually I sequester these kind of shots on my drives due to my poor skills shooting in these kind of conditions and my general preference for sun. However, this was the only coal train I managed to catch down here, making these much more treasured images to me. Others have done it better. But this was all I was able to muster before they went away in the spring.
