Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes ist ein klassisch umgesetztes jRPG-Spiel. Es wird von dem japanischen Studio Rabbit & Bear entwickelt. Die Produktion wurde als geistiges Erbe der Suikoden-Serie entwickelt. Das Projekt wurde vom Vater der Serie, Yoshitaka Murayama, geleitet, und andere Veteranen der Marke, darunter Junko Kawano, Osamu Komuta und Junichi Murakami, waren ebenfalls an der Arbeit beteiligt. Die Geschichte des Spiels
Das Spiel spielt auf dem Kontinent Allraan, dessen Geschichte von ständigen Kriegen zwischen Menschen, Elfen, Bestienmenschen und Wüstenvölkern geprägt ist. Zu Beginn der Handlung dominiert das galdeanische Reich, das durch die Entdeckung einer Technologie, die die Macht der Runenlinsen, die die Grundlage der Magie des Landes bilden, verstärkt, die Oberhand über seine Rivalen gewonnen hat.
Galdean organisiert regelmäßig Expeditionen, um ein mächtiges Artefakt zu finden, das diese Macht dauerhaft festigen soll. Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes is a classically realised JRPG game. It was developed by the Japanese studio Rabbit & Bear. The production was developed as a spiritual heir to the Suikoden series. The project was led by the father of the series, Yoshitaka Murayama, with other veterans of the franchise including Junko Kawano, Osamu Komuta and Junichi Murakami. This was the first project Murayama and Kawano had worked on together in more than two decades.
The plot of the game
The game takes place on the continent of Allraan, whose history has been marked by constant warfare between humans, elves, animals and desert dwellers. When the story begins, the Galdean Empire is dominant, having gained the upper hand over its rivals thanks to the discovery of a technology that increases the power of the runic lenses that form the basis of magic in the land.
Galdean regularly organises expeditions in search of a powerful artefact to cement its position as a superpower. During one of these expeditions, a young Imperial Army officer and a warrior from a small village meet. They quickly become friends, but history throws them into the middle of a war that will change the fate of an entire continent.
