Harbie's having a break from us - he'll be will Lee from Rover.com till we get back. (Here he is curled up on our bed - as usual, right where I want to stretch my legs out!)

Time for the last part of our holiday in Budapest - you can see it here, on YouTube!. I still have some more photos to share though - eventually I'll run out!
I almost didn't share this photo as the first thing I spotted was my fat tummy! When you look at the next upload (of the strawberry tart) you'll see I deserve to have a fat tummy, although I did notice after that when I stand up straight it looks so much better! Tim took this of we two sisters, but I wish he'd told me to stand up right!! Also I want to point out how no one really knows what to wear at the moment - I didn't really need my jacket (it was on the bench next to Tim) but the woman on the bench on the left is dressed up for the middle of winter!
JJ and I returned to the 1865 to wait for the concert to begin. We were there to watch the Feeling, but we were happy to watch the support, Sandi Thom - we knew her song "I Wish I was a Punk Rocker". The venue was quite small and we knew we had to decide quickly where would be a good place to watch - we didn't feel the need to be right at the front as we'd already seen the Feeling close up. We made our way up to the balcony to watch, and we were interested to see one of the guys we'd seen in the kebab shop at the control desk! You can also see one of the set lists we were given as part of the sound check package.
Here is one of my favourite songs, which they included in the encore - Thought it was Over
The 1865 is an independent grassroots live music and events venue located in Brunswick Square, Southampton (SO14 3AR). Established in 2013, it hosts concerts (rock, indie, metal, electronic), tribute acts, club nights, comedy, and private functions. It has a standing capacity of approximately 750 people and features a mezzanine area and professional sound/lighting. (From Google AI)
Two shots from our trip to Guildford. This is the view from our bench - we enjoyed sitting in the warm sunshine at Guildford Castle for quite a while.
Peak's Pond is a small, historic pond located within the Guildford Castle Grounds in Guildford town centre. Situated at the foot of the castle keep, it was opened in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and named after Henry Peak, the Borough Surveyor and architect who landscaped the castle grounds. It remains a popular, picturesque spot for visitors to the gardens. (From Google AI)
On Thursday we met up with my sister and brother-in-law in the city of Guildford, which is kind of half way between us. We've done this a few times lately, as my sister has a busy life with quite a few grandchildren etc. We met on the station and walked to Wetherspoons, where we had a nice meal and chat.

After lunch in Wetherspoons, we had a walk to Guildford Castle - it was such a lovely day we sat on a bench for a while. It was a bit early to see many tulips but there were a few daffodils around the gardens.
Sorry to bore you with my concert photos - I just really enjoyed the concert so much and was excited to be so close to the band (at the sound check)
When the sound check session finished we had an hour to kill before the main concert. Some people just went straight back to queue again, but we decided it would be nice to find somewhere to sit down for a bit. This wasn't a part of Southampton that we really knew so we decided to follow another couple and ended up in a kebab shop where we ordered some snacks and drinks. Who should come in, but a some of the crew and band members! I recognised the guy sitting in this shot - he is the drummer.
Here is another single from the album - Love it When you Call.

The sparkly piano came out for Miss You, that last song on the album they were performing ("12 Stops and Home") - it's an extra track and is very beautiful.

We were treated to three songs before a brief Q&A session.
Here is Sewn, the 4th single off the album.
There was one thing we'd not done in Amsterdam but hoped to do, and that was to visit a Febo fast food restaurant. After our evening boat trip we were rather hungry so we sought out our nearest shop. It didn't disappoint - the snacks were all very cheap and affordable.
FEBO is a chain of Dutch walk-up fast food restaurants of the automat type. Founded in 1941 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, FEBO is most notable for this automatic format: a counter is available for purchasing French fries, beverages, and hamburgers. Other FEBO snacks can be bought from the automats. The primary automat-vended items are krokets, frikandellen, hamburgers, kaassoufflés and similar items.
According to the company, FEBO has almost 60 shops around the Netherlands, with 54 being franchises. There are 22 shops in Amsterdam alone.
The FEBO's motto De Lekkerste translates into English as "The Tastiest".

Here's JJ with my favourite (of the few we tried) - a Kroket (Croquette): The most iconic Febo snack—a crispy, breaded deep-fried roll with a creamy, savory filling. In this case it was the Rundvleeskroket (beef).

We freshened up in the hotel but all felt a bit hungry - we hadn't eaten for quite a while - and the night was still fairly young. So we walked towards the centre of Amsterdam. This is the little shop we bought our stroopwafels from - it looked so sweet lit up! Our hotel was right next door!
(Sorry I've not been around much on Flickr today - Tim and I met my sister and her husband at Guildford. Will catch up a bit tomorrow!)
Happy Birthday dear Sarah! (Today - 19th - is a milestone birthday)
We had a lovely day last week in Emsworth and Tim took this photo of Sarah and me, with little Maisie!
Here's Sarah's dog Maisie photobombing this cool artwork in Emsworth!
