About the Addiction:
Compulsive Shopping is a different kind of Addiction, but you still get an excitement or thrill out of it. A different kind of high. Most do not realize there Addiction to shopping, and it can be shopping for anything not necessarily just clothing, it can be anything, and anything unnecessary or uneeded, Just the wanting of getting it. This could be in men and women. In a recent study it was shown 5.5% of men are compulsive shoppers, and 6% of women are. As this may seem very little it isn't. This Addiction drives people into uncontrollable financial problems which could lead them somewhere unexpecting if the problem is not taken care of properly.

Addiction: Cocaine

About the Addiction:
As of now, in the media it is shown that Cocaine is done by most young celebrities. It is known more of a "glamourous" drug then the rest. About 33.7 Million people from ages 12 and older have tried Cocaine at least once in their life. That is about 1/4 of every American. Cocaine is highly addictive and is also used as a diet to loose weight which usually ties in with Anorexia. There are many different reasosn as to why people use Cocaine, which makes it even more popular, but it is easy to overdose on and most likely wont cause death, it can cause serious harm to oneself and put one in great danger.

About the Addiction:
Love is a different kind of Addiction, it can be taken in plenty of different ways. One of the most common ones is wanting someone you can not have, and not having so taking drastic measures, obsessing over the person, they are all you can think about. As there may not be any statistics or cures to this, other than finding someone for you. The result of searching for love, feelings that it's all you live for can result into lowering your standards and also making it noticeable that you are available and wanting love. Addiction to Love is probably the most common Addiction, and the longer it lasts, the worse the condition.

Prescription drugs is an addiction, that you can get almost anywhere. Which recently in the news, has been made more clearer with the deaths of certain famous celebrities. In 2000, 43 percent of those who ended up in hospital emergency rooms from drug overdoses-nearly a half million people-were there because of misusing prescription drugs. Recently the rates of overdosing on prescription drugs higher and higher, mainly because of how easy it to to get them. Then the mixture of certain pills with other plays a huge effect and could lead to serious complications and also death.

About the Addiction:
Tanning is one of the worst and more increasing addictions among EVERYONE recently. Statistics show that yearly around 2-3 million people world wide are diagnosed with Skin cancer, and people who use tanning beds are about 55% more likely to develop melanoma. Also for Spray tanning, as it might not be bad for you but it is to the point where you can not stop, and when you are nowheres near being natural. Most don't take this Addiction seriously, even though it is very serious and your life is strictly at risk.

***ALSO out of ALL The Addiction's the one i fall under the category for would be this one, i Love tanning , everything about it, i know the health risks, but i can not stop.

Plastic Surgery today is now growing sufficiently all over the world, from different places and people doing it. Going under the knife which is what it is known by can be very harmful, and also addicting. Not only celebrities get ton's and ton's of botox but also just regular people to look like their favorite celebrities. In 2008, There were over 10.8 Million cosmetic surgeries. 45% of people between the ages of 35-50 have gotten plastic surgery. After awhile this could end up deadly, even your first time, and most don't only do it once, and they return.

About the Addiction:
What Heroin is, is a drug that most of the time is taken while shooting it up and most notorious for. But you can also smoke it. Heroin is one of the heaviest and most addicting drugs out there which you can easily die from. The marks it leaves behind are just as bad as the ones you make on others. Over 3.8 Million people have used Heroin at least once in their lives. Another thing about Heroin is that is used amoung many young adults, one being my Cousin who passed away from a Heroin overdose when he was only 20. Which is still hurting my family till this day.

What many do not realize as an addiction is eating. Most expect Bulimia and Anorexia, but also eating to much is an Addiction. Some like to eat when they are sad, or even when happy. But to the point where they can not stop. This is also known as "Polyphagia" or "Hyperphagia". It is a huge problem and can be triggered from many different emotions or feelings to the point where someone can not stop.

About 3.3 Million people in America have this disorder which also results as an Addiction.
