So many different airlines involved in this... First flown with the Saab test registration SE-G01, this aircraft was delivered to the AMR Leasing Corporation as N201AE, leased to AMR Eagle Inc and sub-leased to Nashville Eagle in Aug-90. It was operated on behalf of American Eagle Airlines.
Nashville Eagle was merged into Flagship Airlines in Jun-91, the operation for American Eagle continued. Flagship Airlines was merged into American Eagle Airlines in May-98. The aircraft was returned to AMR Eagle Inc in May-01.
It was sold to Chicago Express Airlines in Aug-01 and re-registered N309CE in Oct-01. In May-02 Chicago Express was sold to American Trans Air. The aircraft continued to be operated by Chicago Express on behalf of American Trans Air Connection. It was re-named ATA Connection in Mar-03.
In Nov-05 the aircraft was sold to Aerocentury, leased to Colgan Air and operated on behalf of United Express. It was returned to Aerocentury in Jan-11 and sold to Worthington Air Parts. It was permanently retired at Springfield, MO, USA and eventually broken up.
