This goat is called either Maeve, Mildred, or Mauve; the sign on the fence didn't say which one, however. Maeve is the prettiest name, though. I visited Appleton Farm, in Ipswich, Massachusetts,while in the area today. It's a large farm, owned by Trustees of Reservations, a historical preservation organization.
