This shot was taken at Florennes Airbase, Belgium during the ROYAL FLUSH 73
58+54, Dornier Do-28D Skyservant (CN 4129) of AkG 51 'Immelmann', Luftwaffe photographed at the International Air Tattoo at RAF Greenham Common on 23 July 1983. Originally delivered in 1972, the aircraft was use by AkG 51 as a support aircraft for it's RF-4E's. Released from service in 1994, it was returned to Dornier as D-IDDR before moving to Panama as HP-1269 and then on to Mexico as XA-TIT. Withdrawn from use and stored by 2007. No sign of it on Google maps today. Just continuing the Dornier theme for fun. The image is tagged as mine, but it could be one by my brother, we shared kit and duties back then. Luftwaffenmuseum der Bundeswehr at the former airbase of Berlin-Gatow on September 15, 2012. Luftwaffe Panavia Tornado IDS "44+68" (cn 425/GS125/4168). This aircraft served with Aufklärungsgeschwader 51 (AG 51) "Immelmann".
Recce Meet 2003 - Florennes - July 31st, 2003
9th July 2012 - Panavia Tornado IDS '45+85' from unit Aufklärungsgeschwader 51 of the German Luftwaffe resplendent in her Arctic Tigers special scheme departs the Royal International Air Tattoo.
