This photo shows a close-up view of fishing equipment on what appears to be a pier or boat edge. There's a fishing rod and reel in the foreground, positioned on a textured surface that looks like concrete or the edge of a dock. To the right, there's a rusty metal ladder or frame with thick rope coiled around it. In the background, you can see a blurred cityscape across a body of water, with twinkling lights visible in the distance, suggesting this is during twilight or evening hours. The water appears calm, and there's a hazy, peaceful atmosphere to the scene. It captures the serene moment of fishing near an urban area, with the contrast between the fishing equipment in the foreground and the city lights in the background.
My expectations from this shot were somewhat unreasonable. I was hoping to make the fisherman collecting his bait more of a feature, I think i should have positioned my drone much closer to allow him to have more impact in the scene, nevertheless it was a pleasing result.
I deliberately left yours truly in the shot to add a little more context although i am sure most of you would have preferred it if i had cloned myself out.

Ok. This photo isn't for show or trophy :)
Carpenter ants are large and black and cut into wood in houses to build their nest. Like wasps, the colony grows over years, weakening the structure. Don't bother spraying them, the only way to control them is to leave bait and for the workers to carry it to the nest. Other bait has been tried. This one works.
The trick is to sit quietly outside and watch the ants as they come and go until you local where they have a hole into the house. Place a small amount of this product where their seems to be a trail leading to the hole. The new formulation is a gel -- and this ant (a small worker) has found and is feeding on the gel. It may take 2 weeks before the colony succumbs. Ants may "come out of the woodwork" and behave strangely. That would be good news.
Where we live, Maxforce bait can be found on Amazon for $39.
This evening, I tackle another pest -- Carpenter bees!
