When I meet somebody for the first time and they say, 'Where are you from?' I always reply, 'Lincolnshire, but don't tell anyone!' That said, I am actually quite protective of my home county and will politely point out that it is anything but flat... at least, not in the Wolds to the north (south of Boston, granted, it's flatter than Keira Knightley's chest department). In the city of Lincoln itself there is a pedestrianised area called 'Steep Hill' (best tackled when inebriated or not at all) that should give visitors some extra clues as to some of Lincolnshire's topography. Anyway, I've been meaning to shoot this view for a couple of years, and today was the day. It's looking south from Keal Hill (yes, a hill!) towards Boston, and if you Go Large you may be able to see Boston Stump to the far right, on the horizon.
