The only place where we saw Ruddy Turnstone in Iceland was near the town of Grundarfjörður, at a viewpoint for the famous Kirkjufell (mountain). That is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in the region of Vesturland.

This endearing scene of a female Common Eider walking with one of its young took place at Árskógssandur Harbour, where the ferry departs for the island of Hrísey. That is in the region of Norðurland Eystra, Iceland.
