In celebration of amy's antics aka Sheila for her birthday.
Happy Birthday Sheila. I'll have to enjoy one for you later x
After our last Premier Inn breakfast (for now!), we packed up our things, and headed off to Bovington Camp, to go to the Tank Museum. Mike was last there in about 1964! It's changed a bit since then, as you can imagine. There was a LOT to see, and it was very well displayed, with good information - interesting, but not too nerdy or lengthy. We were there for almost 4 hours, including lunch. We'd seen enough tanks and war-related items by then, fascinating though it was, and our energy was flagging!
We returned home, following Google maps' directions, which seemed a bit convoluted, but probably avoided us getting stuck in any weekend/holiday traffic. We stopped at Tesco in Ciren to do the shopping. It was Mike's birthday, so he had a candle on his jam & fresh cream doughnut!

The birthday cake was berry-ish, cheesecake-ish and delicious. Edible gold as an accent.
