One of the various editions of the timetables and information handbooks issued by the Belgian Railways and Martime organisations whose London offices were at 99 Regent Street. It advertises the cross-Channel ferries operated by the Regie voor Maritiem Transport (RMT) and rail services within Belgium run by the Belgian National Railways (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Belges - Nationale Maatschappij der Belgische Spoorwegen) as well as onward connections throughout the Continent and on to the Middle East and Asia via Turkey.
The cover is dominated by two squabbling sea gulls fighting over a fish whilst sailing past is one of the RMT's steamers. The artwork is by Belgian artist Louis Royan (1882 - 1968) who was commissioned for various travel posters by the RMT. The lettering, especially the titling, is remarkably out-dated for 1937 having more than a hint of earlier art-nouveau styles.
