Great curassow bruine hokko crax rubra female barred morph
Most of the time you see this large bird (about 90cms and 4 kg of weight) walking around, but they can fly and sometimes you see them in a tree. And I got a lovely sight for making a portrait of this female. Have a nice day and I will be away again for some time.

Most of the time you see this bird walking around, but they can fly. This female surprised me to fly into a bananatree looking for some food. I'm fine my friends after my operation, but need some more time to recover. Have a nice day and stay safe. I really hope the people in Nicaragua and Honduras are well with this new and strong hurricane. Until now no influence in my area, only it is cloudy but still no rain.

A shot from some time ago when I visited the Arenal NP with the trail that leads you to the lake. Early morning and we surprised this bird, but I love the pose and shot despite the high iso. (16.000)

A long time wish I could fill some time ago when I visited Boca Tapada. I saw the male of this large bird (90 cms and about 4 kg) at different places, but I was naver able to get a shot of his crest, so mission completed.
