34 image panorama of the Herbert Glacier north of Juneau Alaska. Photos were taken at low tide from out on Eagle Beach with a Canon 100-400mm lens at 400mm on a Canon 5d Mk III camera body. Photos were then merged in photoshop to create the panorama.

Fourteen image panorama of Lions Head Mountain north of Juneau Alaska. Photos were taken from Bridget Point State Park. The Kensington Mine is located at the base of Lions Head. To date almost a million ounces of gold have been mined from underground operations at Kensington that date back to the late 1800s and continue to this day. Currently the mine is operated by Coeur Alaska a 100% subsidiary of Coeur Mining.

Sawyer Glacier calving into Tracy Arm in Southeast Alaska. Went on a day trip tour of Tracy arm last weekend from Juneau. Amazing awe inspiring scenery. Its like a flooded Yosemite Valley with a giant glacier at the end of it.

Took a hike out to the Mendenhall Glacier last week to see some of the vanishing ice caves. IT was amazing to see the amount of melt from just this past winter until now. It was a long hike to get out there, but well worth it.
