A portrait shot of Castell y Gwynt high on the Glyderau in Eryri National Park. Known as "Castle of the Winds" in English, it forms a fabulously splintered summit between Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach.
I took this on a marvellous day out with Clive Griffiths back in March when we were treated to some very clear weather. In fact Clive stayed down there camping for a good few days in fine weather. It was bitterly cold in a strong wind on the summit ridge here, but the air was clear and we got some wonderful photos to remind ourselves of a wonderful Snowdonian day.
