Spring the beginning of all things.
I sit quietly and wait. What I ordered
still hasn’t arrived.
And meanwhile, life passes me by. Changing before my eyes.
And what I ordered does not always arrive…
And maybe it never arrives exactly as I ordered.
And as I wait for things to be exactly as I planned,
life passes me by and does not wait for me.
It does not wait for anyone. It simply happens.
And I realize that the longer I keep waiting,
the parade will go on
without me.

n’est toujours pas arrivée.
Et pendant ce temps, la vie passe devant moi. Elle change sous mes yeux.
Et ce que j’ai commandé n’arrive pas toujours…
Et peut-être que cela n’arrive jamais exactement comme je l’avais commandé.
Et pendant que j’attends que tout soit exactement comme je l’avais prévu,
la vie passe devant moi et ne m’attend pas.
Elle n’attend personne. Elle se déroule simplement.
Et je comprends que tant que je continuerai à attendre,
le défilé continuera
sans moi.

Well, I'm told this was once a lively hub of social activity; now it stands in forlorn abandonment along the main street of May, Idaho.
Loads of visitor's initials, tags; this old cabin is found in Coolidge, a ghost town (mining) near Wise River, MT.
