Once their Citadel (next door) was complete, they moved out in October 1892. The hall they became a builder's merchant's warehouse for Lacey & Lincoln lasting through to the latter years of the C20th. It was purchased in 1993 by Country 7 Eastern and restored to its former glory and reopened in April 1994 as a museum and shop, known as the South Asia Collection. The main entrance is in Bethel Street, but during the theatre days this switched to St Giles Street, a location that just happened to be opposite the Hippodrome Theatre!
