I last visited this lighthouse 15 years ago, it was an f-stopping moment when I realized that.
As I took this photo I started reflecting on my journey as a hobbyist in those 15 years; whether I've improved; whether I have understood aperture noise and shutter speed; whether I use that knowledge when observing the scene and environment; whether I actually stop and compose a photo instead of relying on spray-and-pray as a fallback; whether I process photos more tastefully instead of 'whatever works'.
The answer, I concluded, was a resounding 'lol'.
