At the end of the years, I want to show a few of my old slides again:

Daytime flying Daubentons Bat. apologies for the image quality but trying to get on a bat with a handheld 500 is no mean feat!

Came across these bats in between the rocks of a rock wall along side Elan Valley Dam

This bat specie has been evaluated "least concern" by the IUCN in the world.
One of the 34 species (all insectivorous) listed in France.
Did you know that most of bats give birth to only ONE young per year ? They're not "prolific" at all.
