The bronze eagle - monument by Antonio Tomasi from Desenzano created in 1971 to remember the Italian Alpini troops of the first world war of Desenzano. It was donated in 1996 to become part of Piazza Garibaldi.

I'm having way too much fun playing with the 2 oil paints, regular and water-mixable. This was originally done with the standard oil paint and it just simply refused to dry. So, today, I glazed it with the water mixable and left it as-is. In a perfect world we would've had the right tool for every occasion, but it's better to adapt to make the most of anything available at hand.
