I've been absent for almost a week because I've been working on a rush-job commission. (perhaps I really should learn to say 'No!' )

For an advert for an insurance company - crochet dolls dressed as Cricket players - as many as possible by the deadline -
6 days!!
I had to invent the patterns as I went and my hands are quite sore now ... but they are done and awaiting collection.

Cricket is a little bit like baseball - one person has a bat, there are balls thrown and a bit of running as fast as possible ... but the traditional cricket outfit is white.
