I always liked the look of the motors of Wm. Rowe & Sons Ltd, of Greendale Garage, Elford, near Tamworth, with their traditional green & red livery. The firm did general haulage as well as livestock transport and ran some Sed-Atki 400 artics; Leyland Roadtrains; 3 AEC Mercury cattle lorries and this December 1974 registered AEC Marshal six-wheeled cattle wagon. All their motors had that well-worked look about them. They also had a magnificent AEC Militant Mk3 Recovery. Sadly Rowe's finished in the early 90's. GHA 952N was last on-the-road in October 1990.
