a Faux ad i had in my head today,and had to get out. :p

while summer may indeed be waning, the heat still makes it "necessary" for me to enjoy one of these frequently. the humid days call for a cold glass of Arizona lemon tea,topped with a generous splashing of Kraken rum. mmmm. it is mightily delicious.
and the perspiring glass is neat looking,so i got a shot.

ive been wanting to get back into taking shots more and more.
making something even if its not what i would call fantastic. just something.
the need to be productive,even in slight ways,is enough to drive me out of my mind.

ive got some really cool projects waiting in the wings.stuff that in the coming months
i feel will truly explore and test the limits of what i can do and what my manipulations
so far have taught me. but.. i must wait. manipulations with other people are far
more interesting to me than just MORE of myself. but,this idea came to me,and i decided
to get off my ass and do it. plus, i have been seeing alot of black and white photography
lately that reminded me i never really waded out into that pool. and i love what other
people do with it.

i guess you could call this a mash-up of several alcohol and cigar ads i have seen,
along with the jennifer aniston ads that are all over. i wanted to imitate them as well
as add my own touches.

he would be shooting fire and i would be swinging a giant two headed

I dont know why, but the number 250 was
something i have had on my mind for several months now.

I wanted to do a shot of some kind to do with a movie.
probably one i would make up, but something VERY cinematic.
then i got the idea to design a DVD cover for a movie about me.

this is it.
For those who are rolling their eyes,
no i dont actually have an Ego, in spite of what most of my
pictures would lead you to believe.
I like being Dramatic,and if that comes off as me thinking im hot shit,
well ... maybe the problem lies in your insecurities.

this 365 has made me carefree in being Emotive, being reflective and
especially being in front of a camera. i dont care what people may say
about it being a narcissistic trip, its made me faster ,stronger, better.

Ever since i was about 15 i dreamed of being on the cover of modern drummer.
This is as close as i will ever get,im afraid.

the broken drumsticks in the picture were my first pair of sticks ever.

My mom got em from a garage sale for $1.
this is the first time in 10 years i have had them out of their protective case.
the tip broke off of one of them during a 1998 show, and it flew out into the crowd.

Walking very dramatically right out of new orleans, this Goth band was most
know for the song " Fang me? No, fang you!" which was the credits song in some horror movie nobody has ever seen.

they were entirely too hard to please and when they actually did play a show
most of the time one of them would step on the others costume, and it began a hissy fit that ruined it for everybody.

( i had set up ready to shoot a fake Metal cover,and the idea to do something i wouldn't normally do took over. :) this is the result. i was trying to get a late 80's low budget cover idea across,but i feel like i kinda missed the mark.)

my last shot at TOTW "heroes" because my brother has
been a hero of mine since i was little.

I moved out here to seattle EXACTLY 7 years ago today, to live with him. We have made movies together,gone on many adventures,and been there to keep each others decisions in check.

A chance encounter on an internet sight opens up the eyes
and the hidden pasts of two working class men.

Eddie ( victor koos ) is a normal everyman, working his job,
spending time with his family . But only until the day he and
Chris ( john mitchell ) begin to notice they have more than just a few
things in common. their world begins to shake with the realization that
they are clones, part of a government plot to overthrow the blue collar
society around them.

but they aren't taking this lying down, its time to kick butt and get the truth

I can not beileve that they actually sell this energy drink, I think it is hilarious. I dont even drink energy drinks, I get all my energy the old fashioned way, coca cola, and lots of it. Also since I tend to sleep 9 to 10 hours a night, I had a hard time trying to figure out what people look like that might not actually sleep for 15 days, this is my rendition.......

Oh and I also love the text at the top of the can "The Legal Alternative" that is a hoot!!!!
