A little back story
Tootling along the back foothills of the Spanish Peaks today. It's beautiful and green everywhere. The lush Green can last many weeks up here because we are pretty close to the mountain, not sure exactly what elevation we are, but straight ahead is the tree/snow line.
We are around 2 miles from the base of the mountain standing in a beautiful grass meadow with wildflowers all around. there is a sound of rushing water nearby, it's a hard running, narrow, but deep brook. I end up jumping over the brook, encountering a fresh smell of Skunk Cabage. So I planted myself here in front of the skunk cabbage and took a stack of horizontal images for the FG to MG and another horizontal stack for the MG to BG. I processed both stacks with Helicon Focus and then Photo merge the two into a single vertical image.
It was a great day with my honey.
ZOOM all the way In. there is nice tree and mountain detail from the stacking. The Skunk Cabage leaves are cool when zoomed in
