If anyone reading this has holidayed in the vast Spanish resort of Benidorm you may have discovered the amazing model shop called Coches en Miniatura. Its a small independent shop which has been there for decades and owned by the same Spanish couple and is an absolute treasure trove of new diecasts of all scales and price points.
Unfortunately I didn't spot any new Guisval but I was nicely surprised they had a sizeable selection of Greenlight products. I could have gone absolutely mad but having only travelled lightly I wisely chose just one, this super square 1983 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. Decked out in an authentic Kentucky State Police livery its actually associated with the Rain Man movie and is also a limited edition release.

The X Files themed 1983 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Police car by Greenlight though I can't quite read what the emblem says on the front door! I think I need glasses! ;-p
Mint and boxed.

Styled with a set square and ruler like many American big saloons even well into the 1980's. Greenlight have already readily maximised this casting with various date and trim related differences, this being its recent The Hobby Shop release which comes with nice packaging and a rather sinister man wearing a black suit. Mint and boxed.

I think the aftermarket lights and push bumper/grill guard make it look somewhat cooler. As best I can tell, this model year looks to be 1988-1990.
