Even in winter, I take my camera with me when I go to family gatherings. Christmas was hosted by our son's family that lives in Forney Texas. It was awful weather; overcast, cold, foggy, so I really didn't expect to see anything wildlife related. But with a maiden name of Murphy, I knew if I didn't take it, something fantastic would show up. It was very surprising when my daughter-in-law discovered this cold, torpid toad in her flower bed.
