The Flickr Fotograf Image Generatr

In Norwegian, we call the Eurasian jay "nut jay" (Garrulus glandarius).

It is one of the bird species we have the most of outside the hide where I am now.

This one is from another hide two months ago.

It was also amazing to see the badgers (grevling in Norwegian) for the very first time last night.

Hecht am Bodensee Ufer

When I rode my bike to today's morning workout, a northern lapwing chick (Vanellus vanellus) like this one, walked out in the road in our neighbourhood. And I heard at least one more in the ditch. Often the anxious parents stand in the middle of the road as well.

I hope all drivers are aware, so that this endangered species can carry on.

I have counted at least 10 nesting couples in our neighbourhood this year. There are only a few other couples nesting other places in our municipality. Many other places, they are gone..
