S307 was introduced to service on 8-12-1957. The loco was basically in service throughout the years into Pacific National service and was painted into Pacific National on 12-10-2007. From 2011 it was used as a banker loco based in Adelaide until being stored at the AFT from June 2014 until May 2018 when it was taken to Port Augusta for further storage. The loco was donated to Seymour Rail Heritage Centre and was transferred to Seymour in April 2023.
