Feeding on berries from a Bangalow Palm. The berries have a thin layer of fruit over a large seed. The birds that swallow them regurgitate the seeds. Photo taken from my kitchen window at Goodna, Ipswich, Queensland.

Every morning sunrise and every afternoon at sunset, the Cockatoos fly over my house. Many stop for a rest or a feed then continue their journey. They are extremely noisy and they raspy screech can make you cringe. This one was challenged by a large black and white Currawong (competing for the berries), so it is making itself look as big and scary as can be.
