One night riding the cab of NP 3/11, stopped short down there at the end of bridge for a Cadillac car that drove across the bridge and got hung up on the puzzle switches for depot. Little dirt crossing at east end of bridge being the only Xing between Newport and here. Can't blame that one on faulty GPS directions. Common sense should have prevailed. Situational awareness and knowing where you are at all times is paramount. I try to apply this everyday in my built in GPS (Geezer Positioning System)
