Steady, heavy rain obscures the far banks of the Mississippi River just above Hastings, Minnesota, at Lock and Dam #2.
There were pelicans and cormorants in the water, though difficult to see here.
U.S. 61 crosses the Mississippi just north of Hastings on the bridge in the background.
