Tramweg Stichting jubileum in Hoorn. For the (Amsterdam) purists amongst us there may be inquiries regarding trams on heavy railtrack, the 301 back in Utrecht livery for this occasion. Politics aside many old Amsterdam trams were rescued thanks to hospitality of the TS in Hoorn.

Detail of preserved tramway GVB 1.
It already carried the numbers 75 (back in Utrecht, where this tram passed his first years in service of public transport in cream livery, before sold to Ansterdam), as well as 301 and 1 in his Amsterdam period.
It will return soon to Utrecht and painted in his original cream colours, renumbered 75.
Binnenkort gaat deze tram terug naar Utrecht om voorlopig in de Utrechtse uitvoering door het leven te gaan.

The preserved tramway 301stayed for several years on the premises of the Steamtram Hoorn-Medemblik in Hoorn. In 1971 this tramway was transported by volunteers of the Tramwegstichting to the tram depot "Lekstraat" in Amsterdam. There started his long planned restauration. As you see, there was still al lot to do.
