The re-laid westerly exit from the yard. Close to being ready for use again at Healey Mills Yard. Needed a pic from here looking towards that exit line. Todays ballast train waiting after unloading all its ballast. 66518 & 66518 . 6Y27 0519 Doncaster Up Decoy to Horbury Up Goods Loop. Left later as 6Y27 1705 Healey Mills S.S. to Doncaster Up Decoy
EWS 56096 has just pulled into the yard with the loaded "Binliner" from Bredbury (Stockport), where it will remain until its scheduled 3.00am departure for Roxby (Scunthorpe). HM Driver Walt Cavell who had brought the train into the yard informed me that the tank to the right of the image contained Anti-Freeze for the locos, which was probably not needed in the July when the image was taken.
