A crisp and freezing sunset right before the first frost. This old hollow oak is estimated to be over 800 years old! Protected and considered a national treasure. Located on the eastern coast of Norway.

Wintertime in the north of Norway. More accurately Lofoten, and the small village of Vareid. The ocean spray coverd the rocks with a teflon like crystal layer, making for some really nerve-racking tiptoeing around to get the tripod in the right place. Which took about a 100 tries 😂
This is the last image captured on this trip, and one of my absolute favorites.
This is one of my all time favorites. A small abandoned house in the back country valleys that lead into an alpine terrain. It is hard not to wonder about who lived here and the the spirit of this place. Looks like it is watching over the flowery meadow :)
It must have been on its own for a very long time. The large trees grow right on its roof. Would be nice if humans and nature could coexist like this :)
This is a final focus stacked revision of one of my absolute favorites. Looks better in full screen :) Taken in the north of Norway, above the polar circle during winter. Days are only 4-5 hours long so it is almost a constant golden hour. A very sketchy shot to capture as I had to sneak around on the glazed sea sprayed rock. Stupid really. A slip and, well..😅 But it was a beautiful display to behold. Mystical, I would dare to say
During a 3 week trek through a norwegian national park, we one day woke up to fog and crystal clear skies. By the smell we it was not hard to figure out what was going on. This is the outskirts of the fire. We could se it raging from a nearby mountain for the next three days.
There was no chance of lightning the night before, so this is probably human error. Watch your camp fires people, The trees are our friends :)
This spot is located in the far north of Norway. The rock formations running into the sea creates some beautiful small pools where alge grow in many colors. This one here has been named The Dragons Eye. Guess it needs no further explanation ;)
This was on a cold and clear night with light aurora as the Milky Way was coming up over the horizon
Wintertime in the far north of Norway. An alpine area that stretches into the ocean.
