Merry Christmas Mine Hill is part of the Pendarvis State Historic Site in Mineral Point. Pendarvis contains historical structures, artifacts and educational features that focus on the lead and zinc mining history of the area.

Hypericum perforatum is in the Hypericaceae family (also known as the St. John's wort family) and the Malpighiales order. Originally native to Eurasia and North Africa, it has spread worldwide. Considered a weed or invasive in some areas.

The Statsraad Lehmkuhl is a three-masted barque rigged sail training vessel owned and operated by the Statsraad Lehmkuhl Foundation. It is based in Bergen, Norway and contracted out for various purposes, including serving as a school ship for the Royal Norwegian Navy.
It was built in 1914 as a school training ship for the German merchant marine under the name Grossherzog Friedrich August. After the First World War the ship was taken as a prize by the United Kingdom and in 1921 the ship was bought by Norwegian former cabinet minister Kristoffer Lehmkuhl (hence the name).

Le 25 avril 2013, le château de Versailles a ouvert les appartements de Mesdames restaurés et remeublés. Six des neuf pièces de ces somptueux appartements ont été entièrement remeublées grâce au concours de nombreux métiers d'art et de nouveaux dépôts et acquisitions.
Les appartements de Mesdames sont symétriques des appartements du Dauphin et de la Dauphine. Comme eux, ils ont été transformés en salles de musée par Louis-Philippe et récemment restitués dans leur état d’appartements princiers. Mesdames, comme on appelait les six filles de Louis XV, s’y installèrent à partir de 1752, mais seulement deux d’entre elles, Adélaïde et Victoire – qui ne se marièrent pas et vécurent longtemps – les habitèrent jusqu'à la Révolution.
