A trio of widecab SD60s lead B&P train RISI through the town of Mt Jewett, PA, after meeting counterpart SIRI at Clarion. Scenes like this are no more as the SD60M/Is have been transferred to the OHCR property in favor of GEs. The B&O hardware will soon be gone as BPRR has field to remove CTC, ending decades of active signaling on the Buffalo & Pittsburgh's ex B&O mainline through northern Pennsylvania.

On 4 Sep 1884 in Pepperell, MA, Milton married Mary Minot Jewett (1857-1949). Milton and Mary had one daughter: Helen Melville (1885-1974). On 16 Sep 1885 in Royalston, MA, Milton passed away.

James Francis Garvin was born on 9 Mar 1854 in Kendallville, Noble, IN to Justin Parson Garvin (1817-1874) and Ann Eliza Jewett (1829-1859). James was an 1884 graduate of the Union Theological Seminary in NY. On 20 Jun 1884 in Trenton, Grundy, MO, James married Emma Frances Goodale (1861-1944). James was a missionary of the Presbyterian church in Chile for 36 years.
James and Emma had 7 children: Justin Allis (1886-1946); James Francis Jr (1888-1954); John Trumbull (1892-1943); Hugh (1894-1981); Mary (1896-1990); Norman (1898-1971); and Ruth Pomona (1903-1993).
On 6 Jan 1923 in Vina del Mar, Valparaiso, Chile, James passed away.
