"...THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART..."

Mrs Tweedie noted this in her diary entry of 28 February 1963…She has now been with her Sufi Master for seventeen months, and you can sense that she begins to feel and experience the Power and Mysteries of this Sufi Dynasty.

And the keyword here is EXPERIENCE. In this SYSTEM, the aspirant EXPERIENCES all the stages of the Journey of transformation in the laboratory of their inner being, and not just reads about them in books on Sufism

The Bond Between the Student and Teacher by kennyotis

The Bond Between the Student and Teacher

Rabita is one of the bedrock principles of Sufism. And in the Naqshbandi Sufi tradition (the Path of Mrs. Irina Tweedie) it is the SUPREME PRINCIPLE… the connection between the student and the spiritual guide. But of course, it is much much more than that. It is a connection between two hearts…on another plane of existence. I’ll let a real expert describe it…a real Knower of the Truth...Lewellyn Vaughan-Lee, head of the Golden Sufi Center in California and the chief disciple of Mrs. Irina Tweedie. In various writings, he discusses how rabita facilitates the transmission of sirr, (the innermost secret) between teacher and disciple. He describes it as a "mystical process where the disciple absorbs the essence of the path through silent connection rather than verbal teaching.”

Instruction From The Sufi Master

This was how it was: Sri Ravindra Nath Maharaj (d. 2016) speaking with his students in his living room in Kanpur. He was always there for us. We called him daily from our homes just to make that connection. The call lasted about 15 seconds. He received 45 to 60 calls daily from His people... from England, Australia, Germany; America, Brazil, Russia, and more. We visited him in Kanpur for over 15 years.

The Beauty of Expanded Consciousness

After her Teacher's passing, Mrs. Irina Tweedie retreated to Kausani, a small hill station and village in Uttarakhand, India...She wrote:
"And then as the consciousness expands and the understanding deepens: one begins to see Him in All and Everything. There is Nothing but He; one is surrounded by Him, everywhere. So one begins to surrender to life, to people, to things, as being Him and Him alone."
("Daughter of Fire...A Diary of a Spiritual Training with a Sufi Master" p. 775)

"...The Chasm of Fire..." by kennyotis

"...The Chasm of Fire..."

“Chasm of Fire” was the first telling of Mrs. Irina Tweedie’s spiritual journey to India in 1961...And of her meeting the great Sufi Master Sri Radha Mohan Lal (1900-1966)… in the dusty town of Kanpur, in Northern India.. At first, she travelled as an English tourist; but her destiny had something else planned for her. “Chasm of Fire” was published in 1979…but what appeared in print was only a fragment of her story.

A few years later, a more prescient book editor, the great Paul Clemens, an Executive Editor at Blue Dolphin Publishing, saw the immense value of publishing Mrs. Tweedie’s book in full format…all 800 plus pages. The title of the book was now: “Daughter of Fire…a Diary of a Spiritual Training with a Sufi Master.”
