This picture was a challenge! Peter had caught the sun over the bridge straight into the camera lens and the whole of the right hand side was over exposed by at least 4 stops. The result is by no means perfect but it was fun to see a picture Peter never attempted to print.
The train is the same dmu as in (pjs,1189) Swindon 3 car Cross Country set with W51582 leading. Using this picture we can see it continued along the main line therefore it may have been a Gloucester or even South Wales working, the headcode was 2V99.
The yard seems to be in use for loading vans and lorry cab/chassis rather than cars, as in Peter's earlier pictures.
