Build of three 1/72 Revell Transall model kits, two German Luftwaffe, one French Armée de l'Air, circa 1983. To fit the LACI flaps I had to cut plastic away from the kit's wings. I discovered the existence of the aftermarket flaps only after having progressed fairly well into the build, hence the need for this rather late stage cut-out.
Build of three 1/72 Revell Transall model kits, two German Luftwaffe, one French Armée de l'Air, circa 1983. The aftermarket 3D-printed flaps made by LACI are wonderful. They're molded in fully extended position, as the Transall would use in STOL operations. However, I wish to build a standard every day taxiing one, so I decided to cut the flaps a little to have them extended in standard landing setting.
