Hoverfly Xanthogramma pedissequum
I struggle to get decent photos of flowers more than any other subject probably. Admittedly, I haven't given all that much time to photographing them, but it just seems like it should be much easier than it is. I see other flower photographs I think are great and worthy of a frame. Usually clean and simplistic with no confusion as to where the photo wants us to look. For some reason so much easier said than done. I don't think this shot of a rose is great by any stretch, but it's at least okay. Picture taken in May of 2020. Was time to be freed from my hard drive.
