Papaver somniferum 'Merck pharmaceutical - Taz # 2'

I was given three different types of Tasmanian poppy this year, they came with a note that reads, “The three Tazzys came from 3 sources, #1 was from some people who snuck into the fields, stole seeds in Tasmania and sent them to us, #2 was from Merck pharmaceutical company in San Jose Costa Rica, one of the owners came to see the ranch, and his wife grows poppies as a hobby, he brought us these genetically modified seeds, and #3 some from another source.

Note: with the bad weather early on in the year, the last seeds to be sown, where sown a little too late, the Afghan reds, China blues, China whites and the Merck Taz poppies, none have done well, so sadly I will not have any of these poppies for sale this year.
