Ben and Sam were Black Labrador litter brothers and inseparable to the end. They were a big part of my life and helped me cope with the disintegration of a marriage and family life. It wasn't always easy, they really were the terrible twins when they were younger and they left me with a lot of stories to tell. Can't put them all in here, the police might show up.
When my partner and I moved in together, between us we had Ben, Sam, Coco, Belle and Kip. Coco a Weimaraner Springer cross ... yep, you heard that right, knew how to live life to the full. Eyes out on stalks with excitement was the default look. It gets better... Belle was a Dalmatian Springer cross... yes I know. Previously abused, she was a difficult case from the animal sanctuary. Belle was unique. She caused so much mayhem, yet she was the most affectionate dog with us. Outside she lived life at 90 miles per hour and we have a cat we have to thank her for. Not many things survived an encounter with Belle, but this feral kitten did, he and Belle learned to live together and now he's in charge of the house and in charge of Kip.
