On the morning of August 16, 2012, Union Pacific GE AC4460CW (a 4,400 hp AC4400CW locomotive that was to be converted to 6,000 hp, but this ended up never happening) No. 7042 passes new trackwork being installed on a capacity expansion project from milepost 331.58 to 334.79 between Missouri Valley, Nebraska, and Blair, Iowa, on UP’s Blair Subdivision.
