16th of April 2023, Airbus performed a fly over the Ernest Wallon Stadium to celebrate 40 years of sponsoring the local rugby team Stade Toulousain who played Lyon Olympique Universitaire or LOU rugby team and won. The aircraft used was the test aircraft F-WMIL

F-WMIL back home from “downunder “ Australia , via St-Denis - La Reunion.the Qantas stickers seen on it are the result of an order for 12 aircraft from the Australian Airline for it's sunrise project.
After a whirlwind tour “downunder “ to Australia , the Airbus A350K test aircraft F-WMIL is back after departing Sydney via St Denis,La Reunion! This flight was in response to Qantas’s “Sunrise Project" and the subsequent order for 12 A350-1000s, these aircraft will operate non-stop flights from Australia to other cities including New York and London, starting by the end of 2025 with a cabin configuration of : 1st class 6 seats / business 52 seats / premium 49 seats / economy 140 seats

The first prototype A350-1000 (MSN 59) powering out of Toulouse Blagnac TLS/LFBO on a testflight. Note the streak of black smoke coming out of the engines, as they are commanded to spool up and deliver more power. 2400 pixels wide for your enjoyment!
Differences over the A350-900 include:
- longer fuselage (from 66.8m to 73.78m)
- more passenger capacity (from 325 to 366 for typical layout)
- increased MTOW (from 280t to 308t)
- more powerful Rolls-Royce Trent engines (XWB-97 with 97.000 lbf compared to XWB-84 with 84.000 lbf)
- three axle main gear bogie with six wheels compared to two axles and four wheels
- slightly increased wing area (cca 4%)
- vortex generators on both inboard and outboard engine cowling sides to maintain take-off and landing performance
