Preserved former Newcastle Corporation Transport 102, an open-top, double deck, electric tramcar with enclosed lower saloon was photographed at Crich Tramway Museum workshop where it was being overhauled on 8 June 2024. It was built by Hurst Nelson in 1901 as an open-sided single deck tramcar but was rebuilt by Newcastle Corporation in 1903 as an open-top double decker. It was withdrawn from service in 1949.
Preserved former Newcastle Corporation Transport Leyland Atlantean/Alexander, 221 (221JVK), is seen here travelling along Park Avenue, Seaburn, on the 26th August 2024, whilst enroute to the Seaburn Recreation Ground for the North East Bus Preservation Trust's annual Seaburn Historic Vehicle Display.
