A distant view of the awe-inspiring Hokitika Gorge, where a lone figure is dwarfed by the vastness of the landscape. The turquoise waters flow gently beneath her, framed by rugged rocks and dense greenery. This perspective captures the majestic scale of the gorge, reminding us of the immense beauty and power of nature, and the smallness of human presence within it.
That Wānaka Tree, also known as the That Wānaka Willow, is the nickname of a willow tree located at the southern end of Lake Wānaka in the Otago region of New Zealand. The tree grows alone in the water and is a popular destination for tourists.
Getting the Southern lights this far north is a real treat although it didn't last that long. Even some nice colour in the Manawatu but the images coming out of the bottom of the South Island are just spectacular. This solar maximum sure is producing lots of opportunity to get some decent imagery...

The golden sunset was complimented by recently harvested fields and a few locals for good measure. Another day in paradise...
And it's been an awesome time since Xmas to focus on other things and not let social media dictate esp. the likes of Facebook which seems to be a complete waste of time apart from making other people money. And Autumn is nearly here with all its colour...we hope.
